I'm Deekshaa — an emcee and host for sangeets, weddings, gender reveals, house warmings, and cultural gatherings across the Bay Area. High energy where it counts, steady hands when the room needs guiding.
I started out hosting for my own family and community — first a gender reveal, then an Ugadi celebration — and somewhere between the cue cards and the crowd, I realized I'd found the thing I'm happiest doing. Good hosting is mostly invisible: guests should feel like the evening flowed on its own. That's the part I love — building a run-of-show around your family's traditions and keeping the energy where it needs to be. The night is always yours; my job is to make sure every moment of it lands the way you hoped.
